Moise Kean’s father says the striker would like to play for Inter

The father of Moise Kean has said that the forward has supported Inter Milan from his boyhood days and the youngster would be open to the prospect of joining the Nerazzurri. The 19-year-old has been with the Bianconeri since the beginning of his professional career and he made his breakthrough during the previous campaign where he notched seven goals from 17 appearances.

Speaking to reporters, Kean’s father said that the teenager has a special bond when it comes to the Nerazzurri and would find it hard to turn down an approach from the San Siro giants, he told: “At home almost all his brothers support AC Milan. One of his brothers and I, are Juventus fans, and he resisted ‘No, I support Inter.’ It all started when we were walking through a street market and I told him to choose a shirt.

“He did not doubt, immediately choosing Obafemi Martins’ shirt. He grew up wearing Obafemi Martins’ shirt, Inter is his home, he chose them as a child, growing up like a real Nerazzurri fan, so I’m sure he would like to play there. Then it depends on the offers that arrive, but for me he will go to Inter.”

Kean got some gametime during the backend of the previous season where the Bianconeri had pretty much sealed the title. However, there are question marks whether he could make a mark under new boss Maurizio Sarri next season, considering the Italian has generally preferred to go with experience rather than youth from the starting XI.

Irrespective of this, the Bianconeri don’t seem to be looking at the prospect of sanctioning his sale and a loan move could be the best option, should the marksman receive no assurances of regular gametime. Kean has made a stunning beginning to his senior career with Italy with three goals from just two caps.

Nicolo Zaniolo Called up by Roberto Mancini for Euro 2020 Qualifiers

Nicolo Zaniolo has been able to emerge as a key player for Roma in the 2018-19 campaign. The 19-year-old was first spotted with Virtus Entella in 2016. From there, he started making a lot of impression amongst the top clubs and this led to the move to Inter Milan in 2017. However, the decision to switch to San Siro was not fruitful for the player, who do not make an appearance with the Nerazzurri and ended up leaving the club just after a year. Roma grabbed him for around €4.5 million and the faith in the player also made them insert a 25% resell clause.

Since his debut for the team in the loss against Real Madrid back in September,Zaniolo has been able to come a long way. The 19-year-old has now been able to get a spot in the Euro 2020 qualifiers for the Italian national team. While Roberto Mancini has decided to go with this young asset, Balotelli was left out of the squad completely. It should be noted that Zaniolo is not been called up for the national team action for the first time, as he was included in the squad even back in September. However, the midfielder failed to make an appearance in the games against Finland and Liechtenstein.
